TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

DAY 1: ARRIVAL - PICK UP AT ENTEBBE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our driver will meet you and take you to your reserved accommodation for a chance to unwind.

For those interested, there's an optional activity available on this day: the Ndere Cultural Performance. Enjoy a vibrant showcase of Uganda's diverse cultural dances and poetry. This evening show takes place from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Ndere Cultural Center and costs $30 per person.

DAY 2: VISIT TO ST AGNES SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY VISIT

After Breakfast, our tour guide will be on ground for pick up to drive you to the school. Spend the day interacting with kids and teachers as they entertain you through a dancing performance and songs. learn about the activities at the school, visit their farm until you are ready to return back to the Lodge.

DAY 3: TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS - ZIWA RHINO TRACKING

Have an early breakfast, meet our guide and start your adventure to Murchison falls national park. Along the way we visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will track rhinos on foot. This activity will take 2 hours later drive for lunch in Masindi. After lunch we embark on our journey to the park, visit the top of the falls where you will enjoy the scenery of the heavy falls and photography. Later drive to our booked accommodation for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: MORNING GAME DRIVE - AFTRENOON BOAT CRUISE

Have breakfast as early as  6:00 am and drive to the park to the Nyamisika plateau where a lot of early risers will be seen such as Buffaloes, Waterbucks, Giraffes, Leopards, Lions, Warthogs among many others.

 Enjoy a half day game drive session in the park, later have a picnic lunch in the park. After lunch, you will have a 2 hours boat cruise to the bottom of the falls where you will spot various hippos in water, Nile crocodiles, view animals like elephants buffaloes, water-bucks drinking water along the shores, for bird watchers expect to spot different bird species including the kingfisher, fish eagle, hornbill, bee-eaters among others. Return to the lodge for relaxation dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: TRANSFER FROM MURCHISON TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, we check out of the lodge meet our guide and start your journey to Kibale Forest National Park also known as the primate capital. On the way you will have en-route lunch, enjoy stunning views of the beautiful scenery, landscape, tea and banana plantations, as you have stopovers to take pictures and stretch your legs. Arrive at our booked accommodation for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Travel Time: 6 -7 hours

 

DAY 6: CHIMPANZEE TRACKING IN KIBALE - TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH

After an early breakfast, meet the guide to transfer to Kanyachu visitors Centre for briefing about the rules and regulations to follow during the trek. After briefing you will be subdivided into groups where each group will be allocated a habituated chimpanzee family to trek with the help of a park guide. Trekking chimpanzees takes about 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on where the chimps are located since they move from one place to another in search for food. During this trek, you will also be able to spot other primates such as the blue monkeys, Grey cheeked manga-bey, black and white colobus monkeys, L hoest monkeys with different bird species and plant species. Have lunch and drive to Queen Elizabeth to our booked accommodation for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

DAY 7: MORNING GAME DRIVE IN QUEEN AND AFTERNOON BOAT CRUISE

Morning breakfast as early as 6:00 am, meet our guide to start your game drive. You will be able to spot wild animals such as Elephants, lions, kobs, leopards, bush bucks, warthogs, different bird species among others. Have lunch and enjoy a boat trip at the Kazinga channel that connects Lake George and Lake Edward. This boat trip takes about 2 to 3 hours enjoying views of a large concentration of hippos,  elephants, buffaloes, water bucks, bird species. Later drive back to the lodge for relaxation dinner and overnight.

DAY 8: ISHASHA SECTOR - TRANSFER TO BWINDI FOREST

Leisurely breakfast, check out of our accommodation and drive to the ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park. Have a game drive in this sector. This game drive will give you a chance of viewing more wildlife most especially the famous Tree-climbing lions of the ishasha sector. Later have your lunch and start our journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park to your booked accommodation for relaxation dinner and overnight.

Travel Time: 3 hours

 

DAY 9: GORILLA TREKKING ADVENTURE & BATWA CULTURAL TOUR

Have an early morning breakfast, with your packed lunches you will drive to the headquarters for briefing. After briefing you will be subdivided into groups of 8 to start your trek guided by park rangers. This trek might take between 30 minutes to 8 hours depending on where the gorillas spent the night. Once you meet face to face with these majestic creatures, you are allowed to spend 1 hour with them. Later head back to the park headquarters where you will be rewarded a certificate for completion of a gorilla trek in Bwindi. We later drive back to the lodge for refreshment and a short relaxation, then have a guided tour to the Batwa community for some cultural encounters with these friendly people like traditional dances, songs, you will also get to know about their back ground,

 ways of life, traditional practices like making fire out of wood. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 10: TRANSFER TO LAKE BUNYONYI

Have our breakfast and say goodbye to the Gorilla Sanctuary as you will drive to Lake Bunyonyi also known as the place of many little birds. We shall enjoy a canoe experience to the lodge as we go through the different islands at the Lake, enjoy beautiful scenery of hills, forests, different bird species. Arrive at our lodge for check in, lunch, enjoy the lodge, dinner and overnight.

Travel Time: 2 hours

 

DAY 11: TRANSFER TO ENTEBBE

Lazy wake up, have breakfast and check out of the lodge for transfer to Entebbe. There will be a stop for lunch and at the Equator in Kayabwe for photos and refreshments with an opportunity to buy some craft gifts at Equator craft shops then proceed on the drive to Entebbe. Check in at our hotel and relaxation.

DAY 12: PICK UP FROM HOTEL - DROP OFF TO ENTEBBE AIRPORT

Our driver will be on time to pick you up and drive to Entebbe International Airport to catch your flight back home.
