  • DAY 1: PICK UP - TRAVEL TO KIBALE FOREST

    In the morning after your breakfast, you will be picked and briefed by our safari guide/ driver from your place of residence and embark on a drive to Kibale National Park a home to over 10 primate species including black and white colobus, red colobus, L’Hoest’s monkey, Chimpanzees among others. On arrival to the accommodation, check in for Dinner & overnight stay.

    DAY 2: CHIMPANZEE TRACKING & BIGODI WETLAND SANCTUARY

    Early in the morning after taking breakfast, you go to the park headquarters for pre-trek briefing about chimpanzee trekking. Then proceed to trek the chimpanzees which are located by listening to their hooting calls, enjoy the 3 hours with the primates and others species like the Columbus monkeys, grey checked mangabey, red tailed monkeys, bush babies and many bird species. After this delightful experience, return to the Lodge for relaxation, in the afternoon, set out for a walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary with an opportunity to see a diversity of birdlife, flora and fauna later return to lodge for relaxation dinner and Overnight.

    DAY 3: TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK AND BOAT CRUISE

    Have breakfast early, after which depart for Queen Elizabeth national Park, habitat to diversity of wildlife species inclusive are elephants, buffaloes, lion, leopards, giant forest hog, and hippos, among others. drive back to the lodge arriving in time for lunch and in the afternoon, after lunch you will take a 2 hours Launch cruise on the Kazinga channel that connects Lakes Edward and George, one of the most exciting activities in Uganda with a chance to see a high concentration of Hippos and Crocodiles in water while elephants, waterbucks and buffaloes grazing on the banks of the channel as well as an array of birdlife including; the kingfishers, Egyptian fish eagle, saddle billed stork, among others. Return to the lodge for dinner Dinner and overnight.

    DAY 4: MORNING GAME DRIVE –TRANSFER TO BWINDI

    After early morning breakfast, embark on an early morning game drive; expect to see wildlife like leopard, lions, Uganda kob, warthog, giant forest hog, elephants, hippos from grazing going back to water, going through the crater lakes and dry craters visiting the Salt Lake lunch at the lodge, and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National park through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, the area is known for its tree climbing lions. Arrive at accommodation late afternoon for dinner and overnight stay. At the lodge you may opt for a community tour to visit the Batwa who will take you through their culture through their amazing songs and dances.

    DAY 5: GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI FOREST AND TRANSFER TO LAKE BUNYONYI

    Early in the morning after your breakfast, you will drive to the park headquarters for pre-trek briefing, you will assemble in groups of eight with the rest of the people trekking with you on the same day, with the head of well-equipped parked rangers this trek will take 4 to 7 hours depending on where the gorillas spent the night, a steady pair of hiking shoes is recommended as well as a reasonable degree of fitness. The experience is magical once you get to meet the mighty gorillas, you will be allowed to be with them for 1 hour taking pictures and learning about them. Besides gorillas, you will view many bird species and primate making your gorilla tracking experience very memorable. After the trekking, you will head back to the accommodation for Lunch and later drive to Lake Bunyonyi the second deepest lake in Africa with over 29 islands for relaxation with beautiful views of the lake.

    DAY 6: LAKE BUNYONYI CANOE EXPERIENCE

    With morning views of the sun rise from the lake, you will have a leisurely breakfast and embark on a canoe experience to visit the 27 different islands, expect to also see different bird species and learn about the history of the lake. Later return to lodge for lunch and relaxation. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

    DAY 7: TRANSFER TO KAMPALA

    Early morning after breakfast, you will depart for Kampala, having lunch en route and a chance to explore the region’s culture at Igongo cultural center in Mbarara and another stop at the Equator for memory pictures then proceed drop off at your place of stay.
