4 Days Gorilla Trekking Bwindi And Isasha Sector Safari

This 4-days tour will give you a chance to trek in the jungle of the playful gorillas Bwindi Impenetrable forest and spend time with them as well seeing the amazing tree-climbing lions as they climb trees and hang out during the day, you will see 4 to 6 of them lying on branches of different trees. In Uganda, the only place to see tree climbing is in Queen Elizabeth National Park and the experience is very adorable.

  • DAY 1: TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

    Meet your guide and start off your 4 days Uganda safari early from Kampala. Along the way you will make a stop by the equator for photography with another stop in Mbarara at Igongo cultural center for lunch and a cultural tour. Continue on the drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the neck of the impenetrable forest enjoying stunning views. Arrive at the your booked accomodation for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

    DAY 2: GORILLA TREKKING BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

    Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is the home to the forest giants, have an early breakfast before setting off for your gorilla trekking adventure, you will arrive at the park headquarters where briefing will take place about the trek. This trek will take 6 to 8 hours and with the help of park rangers you will be paired into different groups with other people that will be trekking on the same day then start to enjoy the walk through the forest. Besides the gorillas this Impenetrable Forest is full of birds, butterflies and plant species plus forest hog, forest elephants, statungas and dikers. Expect to have a magical experience once you meet with these majestic playful gorillas. After the gorilla trek you will be rewarded a certificate for completing a Gorilla trek in Uganda then drive back to hotel for relaxation in the late afternoon you can opt for a guided community tour to visit the Batwa people who live in the Bwindi Forest. The batwa friendly people will take you through their background, their amazing cultural dances and songs, teach you how to make fire with wood and a lot more activities. Later return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

    DAY 3: TRANSFER TO ISHASHA SECTOR AND GAME-DRIVE

    After your morning breakfast, you will check out of the accommodation and drive to Isasha sector, the drive is 2-3 hours arriving at your new booked hotel in Queen Elizabeth national park. Ishasha sector is known for its tree-climbing lions, a behavior that these big cats only have in a few places. You will head into Ishasha to search for tree-climbing lions in the fig trees also expect to see buffaloes, elephants, topis and more. With a lot being seen in this sector you will drive to your booked accommodation in Queen Elizabeth National Park for lunch, relaxation, dinner and overnight.

    DAY 4: MORNING GAME DRIVE AND TRANSFER TO KAMPALA/ENTEBBE

    After an early morning game drive, you will drive to the park entrance and see more wildlife, this second game drive will increase your possibility of animal count in the park. After the game drive, you will drive back to Kampala making a stop for lunch arriving in the late afternoon at your booked hotel in Kampala or to the Airport to catch your flight back home.
