Arrival - Airport Pickup Upon your arrival to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be welcomed by our guide/ driver who will transfer you to your booked accommodation of your choice in Nairobi. This day is set aside for you to relax at your hotel and get over jetlag that might have come with the long flight as you prepare for your safari that starts the next day.

Day 1: Transfer to Masai Mara Game Reserve from Nairobi

Early morning after your our breakfast, our guide/driver will pick you up from your booked accommodation/ Air Bnb. You will be briefed on your day’s travel then transferred to Masai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy a 5 hour’s drive through scenic views of the Nairobi suburbs, beautiful savannah grasslands and the plains of the Rift Valley. You will stop at the Great Rift Valley view point for photography shorty after which you will continue the journey to the park. Upon your arrival to the Park, you will check in accommodation just in time for lunch. After the refreshment, you will then head out for an evening game drive, expect to see various wildlife species to include: giant elephants, hippopotamus, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes and so many more. After collecting full day memories, we return to accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day Masai Mara National Reserve

The next two days are spent game viewing in Kenya’s leading Masai Mara National Reserve. You will embark on two game drives in the Mara: morning game drive and the afternoon game drive in search of the big five and other wildlife species to include: Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, Wildebeest, buffaloes, zebras, jackals, spotted hyenas, topi, impala, Hartebeests, nat eared foxes, the crocodiles and hippopotamus of the Mara and Talek Rivers. Considering your planned time to visit, you should brace yourselves to witness the thrilling Great wildebeest Migration as it happens in the Mara. This natural movement of over 4 million grazers from Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to Masai Mara National Reserve is the sole reason why many visitors opt to come to Masai Mara National Reserve at this time of the year. The adventure is unmatched and considered as one of natural wonders of the world. To Note: • There is an optional cultural visit to the Masaai tribe community within the park; this visit grants you a chance to learn about the Masaai culture, customs, ways of living and their exercising cultural dance. • Game viewing in Masai Mara Kenya can be enhanced with a hot air ballooning Experience, this can be arranged at an extra cost.

Day 3: Full Day Migration Tracking

Today you will have a full day to track the the Great migration as it happens in Masai Mara National Reserve depending on how early the herds will be. August has always classically been the month which sees the first of the mega Mara River crossings. It is another big movement month for the herds, as many that were lingering around the Mara River as they make their way north in search of greener pastures. If the herds have made it then August is a fantastic time to see the migration. The first crossings of the season are often seriously explosive with the crocodiles being hungry and the wildebeest acting very manic. As such, the first crossings leave a trail of carcasses behind them. After the thrilling day of migration tracking in Masai Mara National Reserve, After full day exploration we head back to accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Full Day Masai Mara Migration Tracking

This is yet another day to take chances with exploring the Great migration with hope of encountering River crossings. Our guide is knowledgeable enough to track and locate the thrilling adventure as it takes place within the Mara. All the way through the month, river crossings should happen almost daily. It is all a case of waiting patiently for the wildebeest to decide to cross. After gathering full day thrilling memories, you will return to accommodation for beer/wine tasting and overnight stay as we celebrate our last night in Masai Mara.

Masai Mara Game Reserve to Lake Naivasha After our early morning breakfast, we check out from accommodation in Masai Mara with an exit game drive as we proceed for Lake Naivasha. We arrive accommodation in Naivasha just in time for lunch. After lunch, we take a boat ride to enjoy bird watching and sightings of hippopotamus. Tour shall be followed by a visit to Crescent Island for a guided walking safari. Crescent Island hosts grazers like the Giraffe, Zebra, Impala, Grants Gazelle, Common Waterbuck and Buffalo. After the amazing full day adventure, you will return to accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Hell’s Gate National Park Adventure

Transfer to Nairobi After breakfast, we transfer to Hell’s Gate National Park for a cycling safari/ Hiking experience in the wilderness of Hell’s Gate National Park . You can also opt to walk or drive. Hell’s Gate National Park is small and the only national park in Kenya that can be explored by foot or cycle. Resident wildlife include; Giraffe, Zebra, Impala, Grants Gazelle, Warthog and Buffalo. A bicycle ride with sightings of Zebra and Giraffe is a beautiful experience. Alternatively we can hike Hell’s Gate Gorge where our guide will take you through the stories of the gorge during hike. After the nearly half day adventure we transfer back to accommodation for lunch and then check out to transfer to Nairobi to your booked accommodation or to the airport for your departure flight.
